You may click the link to switch the active language.<\/p><p>Es ist Ostern und meine zwei Damen machen grad Yoga: die ideale Zeit, um mal wieder einen Eintrag hier zu verfassen (Gerade halten sie sich die Nase zu und atmen abwechselnd durch das linke bzw. das rechte Nasenloch). Dieser Blog besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit den verschiedenen Anwendungsgebieten von Software in den Sozialwissenschaften. Der Mensch mit seiner Kommunikation und seinem Sozialverhalten steht im Vordergrund der Forschung. Tiere spielen keine Rolle. Deren Verhalten wird u. a. in der Biologie untersucht. Und die Biologen verwenden dazu ebenfalls Software, welche den qualitativen Analyseprogrammen der Sozialwissenschaften relativ \u00e4hnlich ist. Die Programme der Biologen bzw. allgemein der Verhaltenswissenschaftler summieren unter dem Begriff der Beobachtungs- oder <a title=\"Verhaltensanalyse bei Wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Verhaltensanalyse\" target=\"_blank\">Verhaltensanalyse<\/a> (wer hier genaueres wei\u00df, darf uns das sehr gerne mitteilen).<\/p>\n<p>Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn, ein solches Programm zur Verhaltensanalyse ist <strong>Observer XT<\/strong>. Laut Webseite ist es &#8220;<em>the professional and user-friendly event logging software for the collection, analysis, and presentation of observational data.<\/em>&#8221; Die Nutzerfreundlichkeit der Software k\u00f6nnen wir leider (noch) nicht nachvollziehen, die der Webseite ist eher m\u00e4\u00dfig. Wir fanden keine Information zum Preis (kommerzielle Software) und nur nach langem Suchen die Betriebssystemunterst\u00fctzung (Windows only). Wer mehr Informationen zu dem Programm hat und es vielleicht sogar schon einmal genutzt hat, m\u00f6ge uns bitte schreiben und ihre Erfahrungen mit uns teilen.<\/p>\n<p>Bietet Software wie Observer XT nun einen Mehrwert zu Videotranskriptions- und Analyseprogrammen wie beispielsweise <a title=\"Transana\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sosciso.de\/de\/software\/datenanalyse\/qualitativ\/?wcteid=179\" target=\"_blank\">Transana<\/a>? Hierzu k\u00f6nnen wir leider nichts sagen, m\u00f6chten es aber pauschal mal bezweifeln.
