(Deutsch) Fallstudie webQDA: Hybrid User Centred Development Methodology

Zusammenfassung:Die Fallstudie webQDA gibt einen kurzen Einblick in die Verwendung von webQDA im Rahmen einer Doktorarbeit aus dem Bereich Pädagogik und Multimedia.
Beschreibung:In the current educational software development scenario it is important that development processes are appropriate and consistent with the context in which such resources are used. This study proposes the Hybrid User Centred Development Methodology (HUCDM). This methodology is a simple, iterative and incremental development process. The methodology is based on structured disciplined development processes, and on principles of User Centred Design (UCD) processes.
The work followed a research & development methodology of a mixed nature, where it was intended to describe and analyse/evaluate the development methodology for educational software, the process itself and the final product. The study is primarily descriptive and exploratory in nature.
As data collection techniques two questionnaire surveys were used together with direct participant observation (mediated by Moodle). Descriptive statistical analysis and content analysis were used as data analysis techniques. The development process analysis aimed to understand the strengths and weaknesses of Hybrid User Centred Development Methodology, through interactions (with forums) of the multidisciplinary team members.
The results achieved suggest that the developed resource has technical and didactic quality. Concerning the Hybrid User Centred Development Methodology analysis, improvements with user involvement and new methods were proposed
