The guys from EXMARaLDA basically are popular for their development of EXMARaLDA (Amazing, isn’t it?). EXMARaLDA is “a system of concepts, data formats and tools for the computer assisted transcription and annotation of spoken language, and for the construction and analysis of spoken language corpora.” Today, we stumbled upon their Linguistic Annotation Wiki. Within, you can find an excellent overview on Transcription and Annotation Tools. We are trying to add these tools in our SoSciSo database.
